A triathlon race on the “most beautiful course in the world”, according to the legendary Jan Frodeno, who won the race in 2017.

In addition to the classic Middle and Sprint distances, the 2019 edition includes a brand new Olympic distance. As usual, the Middle distance can also be covered by a Relay team.

A triathlon fest on the coast of South Sardinia.

For a week, triathletes from all over the world will gather on the waters, coast and roads of the Chia Bay.

Safety and performance come first: all the courses are perfectly designed to guarantee the highest security.

The 2019 race has a new transition zone, bigger and closer to services and parking.

Course

Swim: 750 m (Sprint), 1.500 m (Olympic), 1.900 m (Middle). Same start and finish, each course is marked by buoys in different colors for each distance. The swim takes place in the fabulous Su Giudeu beach.

Bike: all the three courses are 1-lap, have the same first and last stretch and are non-drafting:  a rule common in the middle and olympic distance but new in the sprint. The shorter distance is a chance for the youngest and for beginners to test the essence of triathlon as an individual competition, or as a training for non-drafting races (as national championships) or TTT time trial races. Courses are located on outstanding natural landscapes, including the fabulous bays of Tuerredda, Porto Teulada and Porto Pino.

Running: as in the past editions, the middle distance run segment is on 3-lap back and forth course in the flat main road next to the Chia Laguna resort, surrounded by a natural oasis home of the pink flamingos. The sprint distance run is 1-lap, while the Olympic is a 5 km 2-lap.
